The 4th of the movie series of the Terminator, Terminator 4: Salvation follows the story of how John Connor comes to lead the human race against the machines who seek total control of the whole planet. The movie is set in the year 2018, when the so-called Judgement Day has finally reached the planet (as prophesized in the 1st 3 movie installments of Terminator) and Skynet (developer of the dreaded machines) has gained dominance in the planet. The resistance is now being led by the grown-up John Connor. His mother, Sarah, has long been dead, but here, he already has a wife whom he seeks guidance and support from (just like his mother's role when she is still alive ).
The movie opened in the Philippines on May 27, 2009 in several movie theaters. The main characters here have more heart (the one thing that separates the humans from the machines, which might be the edge of the former from the latter). But still expect for jaw-dropping action scenes...
