Scientist Dr. Rick Marshall is on his latest expedition when he gets sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant Holly and a redneck survivalist named Will. In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka, their only ally in a world full of marauding dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures and who will lead them out of the hybrid dimension.
