The popular Christmas tale of Charles Dickens will once again be brought back to the big screen. Relive the classic tale of an old miser who must face Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet-to-Come, who will try to bring kindness to his cold heart. The Ghosts remind him of the man he used to be, the hard truth of what the world is today, and what will happen if he does not strive to be a better man. Set around Christmas, Scrooge eventually sees the difference in his own personality.
Jim Carrey plays four separate roles in this movie. Carrey portrays Scrooge, as well as the three ghosts (Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come). Known for the dynamic character roles he does, he can easily pull off these portrayals, keeping the four characters as diverse as they should. Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future trilogy) takes this opportunity to direct this remake.
