Astronaut Chuck Baker is an all-American hero, out to explore the universe. When he arrives on the surface of Planet 51 he believes he's made a fantastic discovery, but he soon finds out that the planet is already inhabited. The idyllic society of little green folks that call the planet home are shocked and horrified by this "alien invader," and Chuck soon finds himself on the run to avoid being put on permanent display in a museum. Only his new friend Lem is willing to help him find his way through this alien world to safety.
