Another movie in the making shall be based on TV series shown in the 1980's. In the 1980-88 CBS series created by Glen Larson and Don Bellisario, Tom Selleck played Thomas Magnum. He was a Navy intelligence officer who turned into a private investigator and hired by wealthy author and playboy Robin Masters to oversee security on his Hawaii estate. Magnum lived in Masters' guest house and drove his Ferrari, much against the will of Jonathan Higgins III, an Englishman who ran the estate. Magnum also continued to take on cases in which he was aided and abetted by his Vietnam vet buddies, specifically helicopter pilot T.C. and club manager Rick.
It is rumoured that Matthew McConaughey shall take the lead character....
